The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will perform day-time road closures along the Marsha Sharp Freeway (MSF) Phase 5B project limits on Monday, Feb. 8, to give project contractor Webber Construction the space needed to accommodate equipment and safely place bridge deck panels on the new Spur 327 bridge over MSF.
The Monday freeway closures are scheduled to begin at approximately 9 a.m., after the morning rush, and will impact eastbound MSF traffic.
To safely complete this work, crews will close eastbound MSF and detour traffic to Milwaukee Avenue via the eastbound Spur 327 frontage roads. Motorist will then take Milwaukee Avenue north to reconnect with the MSF.
The roadway is anticipated to be reopened to traffic before the afternoon rush hour and will take place weather permitting.
