A traffic stop in Carson County near Conway led to the seizure of 114 pounds of marijuana.  

The Texas Department of Public Safety said a Trooper on Sunday pulled over a pickup truck pulling a trailer.  The vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana were found in a false floor compartment on the trailer.  

DPS said the marijuana was worth $691,000.  The driver, Cha Vang, 40, of St. Paul, Minnesota, was arrested.  

DPS said the marijuana was on its way from Bakersfield, California to Oklahoma City.

Separately, DPS seized four pounds of methamphetamine recently in a traffic stop in Carson County.  DPS said the meth was worth approximately $392,000 and was coming from Phoenix to Fort Smith, Arkansas.  

Last week, DPS seized more than $3.5 million of cocaine in a traffic stop in Carson County.
