Police are searching for an Abilene father who was indicted after his little girl tested positive for cocaine and meth.
Raquane Wallace, 19, was indicted Thursday for Endangering a Child and has been on the run for the same charge for months.
Wallace was included in the Abilene Police Department’s social media segment, Abilene’s Wanted Criminals, in March and was even the featured fugitive in April, but he remains wanted and at large.
Wallace’s charge is connected to an investigation that began in October 2017. The little girl’s grandmother, Roxanne Birdsong, was arrested at the beginning of the investigation and charged with Endangering a Child as well.
Several members of the family were drug tested during the investigation.. Court documents state Birdsong tested positive for methamphetamine, cocaine, and amphetamines, and Wallace tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine.
