A repeat drunk driver is back behind bars after being turned in by a 10-year-old boy.
John CdeBaca is accused of driving drunk with his nephew in the car. The boy called his dad saying he was scared.
He said that CdeBaca almost crashed several times, was driving 80 mph on Montano Road, and left him at the park so that he could go drink at a brewery down the road.
Police say the boy’s dad confronted CdeBaca when he got home and called police.
CdeBaca refused to take a breath test, but officers say he had slurred speech and smelled heavily of alcohol.
They also say he has 11 prior DWI convictions and a revoked license.
He’s now charged with not only DWI, but child abuse and other charges.
