Austin once again took the top spot on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Places to Live” in the United States list. This is the second year in a row it’s been selected as No. 1.
The list ranks the top 125 metropolitan cities in the U.S. based on quality of life, affordability and job prospects. It uses a public survey of what people value in a hometown, as well as data from the U.S. Census, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Two cities in Colorado – Colorado Springs and Denver – took No. 2 and No. 3 for best places to live. San Juan, Puerto Rico, came in last place at No. 125.
