Clovis Police said Angel Solis-Loya, 82, died as the result of being hit by a vehicle Monday evening. Police were called to the 1000 block of North Thornton Street. Officers found Solis-Loya on the ground. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
The Clovis Police Department Major Crash Team is investigating this incident.
Officials said the driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with law enforcement. The driver was not named as of the time of this report.
