Officers arrested a man and accused him of dragging his 4-year-old daughter by the hair in a Dollar General in Wichita Falls.
Sergio Munoz, 23, was charged with injury to a child.
Wichita County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call near 10th Street and Van Buren Street. Officials spoke with a witness who chased Munoz on foot to Lamar Park.
According to an affidavit, a witness said he heard Munoz yelling vulgar language at his two daughters and saw Munoz grab the 4-year-old victim’s hair and lift her off the ground.
Several witnesses then chased Munoz who picked up the two children and ran to the park where the deputies arrested him.
Munoz’s bond was listed at $10,000, but as of Sunday he was no longer listed in the Wichita County jail roster.
