The Texas Department of Public Safety said David Arriaga, 55, of Austin, died at the scene of a one-car crash Thursday night. DPS said Arriaga’s car was traveling north on State Highway 208, 14 miles south of Snyder in Scurry County.
“It veered off the road to the right and into a side skid,” DPS said. “The vehicle rolled over several times and caught fire.”
DPS said conditions were dry, and it was unknown if Arriaga used a seatbelt.
