SANTA FE, N.M. – Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and other state officials gave an update on COVID-19 in New Mexico Monday afternoon.
Lujan Grisham announced a statewide “stay-at-home” instruction. It’s not quite the same as a shelter-in-place order. She said it should look and feel a lot like shelter in place.

Non-essential businesses are ordered to close. Hospitals, grocery stores, daycares are on the list of essential businesses — any many others. Restaurants cannot allow dine-in. General retail is not allowed until further noticed.
No groups of more than five (5) at a time are allowed until further notice.
