Yesterday evening, September 10, 2017 around 8:48 p.m. New Mexico State Police were called to a motorcycle crash on Mechum and Lucille Drives in Ruidoso, NM.
Officers learned upon arriving on scene that Mr. Harold Shelby (27) of Ruidoso, NM, was traveling west on Mechum Dr. when he lost control of his 2006 Honda motorcycle. Mr. Shelby was not utilizing a helmet at the time of the crash, sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
This crash is still under investigation with no further information available.
