Authorities in Aransas Pass had to get hands-on with an alligator early Thursday morning.

According to a post on the Aransas Pass Police Department’s Facebook page, the eight-foot gator was spotted by a customer in the parking lot of a Walmart.

Police and Texas Parks and Wildlife were called to wrangle the beast. Officers helped a game warden wrestle the alligator into submission.

No one was injured.

Texas Parks and Wildlife took the gator into custody.
