Officers Find Mold, Feces in Home, Woman Charged with Endangering a Child

Odessa Police said officers found children inside of a home that had mold, rotten food, exposed wires, feces and drug paraphernalia.  Police said the home did not have running water.

Odessa Police said officers executed a search warrant at a woman’s home in the 2500 block of North Adams Avenue on Sunday.

Officers found Danielle Larez, 33, and four children in the home.

Officers then arrested Larez – charging her with four counts of endangering a child. If convicted, the charges against her are state jail felonies with a maximum penalty of two years each.

The four children were released to a family member, police said.
