Wichita Falls police say what started as some upset parents over a referee’s call in a children’s basketball game lead to a fight between four people outside the Boys and Girls Club on Armory Road.

Then police say curiosity got the best of many other parents, as to what was happening outside, so about 50 more people headed out to watch.

That lead to the lone officer on the scene calling for lots of backup.

Police say there were no major injuries, but they did say one woman had minor cuts on her arm, the referee said his arm was injured and another man was taken to the hospital after being pushed over.

Police say he was complaining of chest pains.
