Authorities in Brewster County continue to investigate the discovery of human remains found Friday morning by the U.S. Border Patrol agent in the Sunny Glenn area.
The human remains found northwest of Alpine have not yet been identified. Authorities say they are consistent with Zuzu Verk and believe they have found the missing Sul Ross State University student.
No official confirmation has been made as of Saturday afternoon. The remains were sent to the University of North Texas to be identified by experts.
