LEON VALLEY, Texas (KXAN) – Three suspects are accused of stealing a shark from the San Antonio Aquarium over the weekend.
The two men and a woman pulled the 1.5-foot shark from an open pool, wrapped it in a blanket and put it into a stroller, KSAT12 reports.
Police told the news station the trio stole a horn shark around 3 p.m. Saturday at the aquarium in Leon Valley, an enclave in northwest San Antonio, at 6320 Bandera Rd.
In an update Monday evening, KSAT reports one of the suspects has confessed and the shark, which is still alive, has been surrendered.
