Two fugitives on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list were captured this week. Everett Cole Rainey, 25, (pictured above left) was arrested May 23 in San Antonio; and Raul Gonzalez Jr., 39, (pictured above right) was captured May 25 in Dallas. Both arrests were the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, and rewards will be paid. 

Working off tip information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Special Agents, located and apprehended Rainey at a bus station in west San Antonio. The arrest was the result of tip information, and a reward of up to $2,000 will be paid. Rainey, a high-risk sex offender, was wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and probation violation. He had been a fugitive since January of 2017. Working off tip information, DPS Special Agents, DPS Highway Patrol Troopers and members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force located and apprehended Gonzalez at a residence in north Dallas. The arrest was the result of tip information, and a reward of up to $3,000 will be paid. Gonzalez had been wanted since July 2016, when he cut off his ankle monitor and failed to report to a Fort Worth facility after being paroled for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. So far in 2017, DPS and other agencies have arrested eleven Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including six sex offenders and five gang members, and $32,500 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests.
