A Wichita Falls woman, who was sentenced to ten years of probation in 2009 is now going to prison after her probation was revoked.
Valeria Pruitt, 25, who was arrested in 2009 as Valeria Torres, for kidnapping a good Samaritan who offered her a ride.
In a 2015 traffic stop, officials said she had marijuana and a stolen handgun and body armor in the car. That led to
Pruitt was sentenced Thursday to four and-a-half years in prison for kidnapping and one year in state jail for theft of a firearm.
In the original kidnapping case, Pruitt and a man asked their victim for a ride. The man pulled a gun on their victim and ordered her to drive.
The victim jumped out of the car and was rescued by a police officer.
