UPDATE: The Las Cruces Police Department has found Gene Enjady and has canceled the Silver Alert.
“Mr. Enjady was located safe and in good health. The Las Cruces Police Department wishes to thank all those who shared information on this missing person case,” according to a Friday night news release.

The Las Cruces Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gene Enjady, a Native American male who is 68 years old, 5’9″ tall and weighs 195 pounds.
He has gray, short hair and brown eyes.
Enjady was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, brown boots and a black hat with a Vietnam veteran logo.
Enjady was last seen in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on January 17, 2018 and is believed to be in DANGER if not located.
Enjady could be making his way to the Mescalero Pueblo or Dulce, NM.
Anyone with any information regarding this New Mexico Silver Alert is asked to call the Las Cruces Police Department at 575-526-0795 or 911.
