Lubbock Police said a trailer that was stolen earlier in the week has been found.

The trailer was reported stolen from First Baptist Church in Lubbock on Thursday morning.

Surveillance video showed a thief taking the trailer Wednesday night from the church parking lot.

“Everybody had an interest in getting it back,” said Dean Johnson, business administrator for the church.

Police said detectives went to the area of 1100 County Road 7355 and recovered the trailer.

“The trailer was not damaged and has been returned to the church,” LPD said.

Johnson said he was grateful it was returned. Church officials said the trailer was going to be used to help a family in need.

“Thankful we got our trailer back and it’s in good shape and we can get back to doing what we’re doing without any hiccups,” Johnson said.

“I’m appreciative,” Johnson said.
