Lubbock Police arrested Christopher Steven Daniel, 26, of Lubbock for a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A police report said at about 1:00 a.m. Monday he crashed a stolen vehicle into the drive through of Burger King at 4202 82nd Street. The police report estimated $5,000 of damage to the restaurant.
The police report said Daniel failed to stop and leave information as required by law.
A second police report said officers found Daniel and the stolen vehicle – a 2004 Chevy van – at his residence in the 8200 block of Memphis Drive. There was an estimated $4,000 damage to the van.
Daniel was held Monday in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
