The Haven Animal Care Shelter, a non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary, will hold the annual Strut for the Mutts on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Higginbotham Park. Participants may walk their own dog, an adoptable Haven dog, or may just walk themselves to support the Haven. This is a wonderful opportunity for pet owners to show off their pets, and there will be a Spring Fashion Show immediately after the walk for anyone who wishes to dress their animals in their spring attire. There will also be a photo booth where free pictures of the animals and/or their owners can be made.
Strut for the Mutts is a one mile walk. The Haven brings 15-20 adoptable Haven dogs for the event. If you are interested in walking with a Haven dog, please pre-register to ensure that you have one of our animals.
