New security surveillance footage may help investigators narrow down on who the shooter was that sent one North Lubbock woman to the hospital from a gunshot wound to the foot in the early hours of Monday morning.
A little before 3 a.m. police responded to a call at a home in the 2600 block of Dartmouth Street. A resident had called claiming that his wife had been shot in the foot through the door of their home. She was transported and treated at UMC for non life-threatening injuries. She is now recovering.
On Monday afternoon, a concerned neighbor presented everythinglubbock.com with security surveillance footage that happened to capture the exact moment of the gun shot at the residence, which on the surveillance system appears to show was at 2:44 a.m.
Less than ten minutes, later an ambulance arrived to the scene.
No suspects have yet been identified by police.
Neighbors hope that the surveillance footage will be able to help detectives speed up this ongoing investigation.
