A Central Lubbock convenience store was robbed early Tuesday morning and less than an hour later after the incident, LPD arrested one person. Police said they arrested 31 year old Bill Wilson for the crime.
Police said just before 3:30 AM, the 7-Eleven off 27th and Avenue Q was robbed by a suspect described as a black male armed with a knife, wearing a white shirt on his head.
He left the store on foot headed towards the Dorothy Lomax Center.
Police said Wilson was stopped at the 2400 block of Avenue N shortly after leaving the store.

This is the second armed robbery to a convenience store in two days.
Police released the following statement Tuesday morning:
This morning, July 21, 2015, at approximately 3:19 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery just occurred at Seven Eleven located at 2608 Ave Q. The suspect came in the store wearing a white shirt around his head and face. He threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money. The suspect was possibly startled by a vehicle pulling into the parking lot and fled with only a case of beer. The suspect was captured in the 2600 block of Ave N. No one was hurt during the robbery.
