An annual Christmas Day tradition continued Sunday afternoon at the Lubbock County Detention Center.
T.J. Patterson, along with a group of a dozen volunteers, paid their annual visit to the inmates in the jail.
Mr. Patterson and his volunteers delivered candy, holiday cheer and an important message to the inmates.
This visit encourage those who are in prison to serve their debt to society, move on and make some positive contributions to their lives.
This marks the 27th year the this effort has taken place. It all began on Christmas Day back in 1989.
