Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.

We catch up with former Texas Tech Chancellor and former State Senator Kent Hance. He’s not slowing down since stepping down from the position at Texas Tech. He talks about the upcoming presidential election and we’ll get a little insight into who he planks to vote for and why.

Plus it’s one the most evocative forms of protest from the Civil Right’s movement, the sit-in. Wednesday, Representative John Lewis staged a sit-in insisting house Republicans move on gun control. More than 100 House of Representatives Democrats took part. These members of Congress said they would not leave until they have a bill.

Also this week the Supreme Court handed down a handful of major decisions including immigration and the affirmative action case involving the University of Texas in Austin.

Bryan is off this Sunday so KAMC’s Monica Yantosh will be your host for this edition of Talking Points.

Talking Points with Bryan Mudd airs each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday evenings at 11:05 p.m.
