Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.
It’s been an emotion last few weeks across the Lone Star State and the United States. All of us are watching as race relations in this county have reached a boiling point.
All of this has led to a chorus of emotions focused on Dallas with its passionate protestors and mournful protectors.
This week on Talking Points we’re going to take a look at race relations here in Lubbock.
Our guests this week include a member of the 100 Black Men of West Texas and a former Lubbock Police officer and city councilman.
We also talk more about a Twitter message that popped up earlier this month on the former Texas Tech University Black Student Association’s account that stated, “All lived don’t matter… White lives don’t matter… Blue lives don’t matter… #BlackLivesMatter.”
Talking Points with Bryan Mudd airs each Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. and Sunday evenings at 11:05 p.m.
