Former Texas Governor Rick Perry is a politician who’s always looking for a new demographic of voters. The former governor is taking a brief break for politics and is lacing up his dancing shoes. Perry will be a contestant on the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC.
In the end, the wind farming will be the long term cash crop of West Texas. However the legislature’s sweet deals for wind power companies are drying up. The biggest reason for that may be your child’s school.
Also this week, Lubbock’s renovation of the old Omni Building has been billed as a customer service, hubbing all city services into one location with easy access to everyone. When $49 million became $60 million, a lot of residents who watch and wonder about tax dollars started to worry. We were invited by the City of Lubbock last week to take our cameras inside the building and have a look inside what’s still becoming our Citizen’s Tower.
