#23 Texas Tech rebounded from their first mid-week loss of the season to pound New Mexico State, 14-2, on Wednesday night.

Tech is now 7-3 on the young season.

Tyler Neslony led the way at the plate with two home runs and a triple shy of the cycle.

The Red Raiders’ five home runs on the day was the most by a Tech team since May 2, 2010 vs Missouri.

Freshman pitcher Steven Gingery threw 12 strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings, giving up just two runs on the day.

Tech will now face off vs Cal State-Fullerton for a three-game series starting on Friday at 6:30pm.
