You can now find Amazon’s personal assistant Alexa, is now on appliances. In this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, companies like Samsung, LG, and Whirlpool Kitchen introduced their new appliances connected with Alexa.
The future home appliances are designed to do more without much effort from the owner. Samsung’s new ‘Flexwash’ and ‘Flexdry’ are capable of doing four loads of laundry at once. Created with two separate components, one for small/delicate loads and the other for larger loads, these machines can be activated to wash or dry via an app on your phone.
The laundry room isn’t the only appliance room getting a make over. Your kitchen can become futuristic as well with LG’s new smart refrigerator.
With a transparent touch screen door, this Wi-Fi enabled refrigerator,allows you to see what food you have inside it with just a knock on the screen.
LG’s InstaView refrigerator, is connected with Alexa allowing you to pull up recipes and even adding memos to your schedule or grocery shopping list.
LG isn’t the only major appliances integrated with Alexa. Whirlpool Kitchen, has introduced Alexa in their refrigerator, washers and now ovens.This new integration allows you to check timers, turn off/on your oven and do so much more.

Tracking Your Herd
Agriculture is now jumping on the fitness craze. A few ranching entrepreneurs are introducing new trackers for cows. Herd Dogg, is a start-up company from Colorado, has developed ‘smart tags.’
These removable tags are placed on the cow’s ear and tacks steps, health, and overall wellness of the cattle.
The tags seen the information gathered to a receiver or cell phone. After the ranchers have received the information they can determine if their herd is eating or drinking enough.
