Facebook launches Marketplace, a new service that offers Facebook users to buy and sell their unwanted products. Marketplace is going to bring competition to current online services like Craigslist and eBay. But the company says they are wanting to make it safer and easier for their users to make deals for items they are wanting to buy or sell.
Millennials are attending a coding boot camp that helps them skip college and places them straight into the industry. Kevin Harris, the founder of Guild of Software Architects, says the camp is ‘an alternative form of education’ looking at the program as a ‘high tech trade school.’ They will be learning how to build applications and help them improve their coding skills to keep up with the demands of the industry. It’s a three month course that cost just under 12-thousand dollars and by the end of the course they hope each student knows everything need to be successful since the mobile world isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
