Facebook plans on making a few new updates to help their page be easier to navigate.

Comments will start to look like iPhone text messages, with your friend’s wise words in light gray speech bubbles.

Profile photos will have a new shape, transforming from square to circles.

It’s the little things that will be change but it will be noticeable to users.

We’ve all done it, posted a picture of what we are having for lunch or dinner. Well, people are now getting paid to post pictures of food.

This is a new booming business that many companies are paying Alexa Mehraban, a Social Media Influencer, to post pictures on Instagram.

More than 270-thousand people follow her “Eating NYC” Instagram account. Mehraban says that people started seeing the value in what she’s doing after she started working with brands to create advertisements.

Mehraban is considered a Social Media Influencer because she influences her audience about what and where to eat. Gil Eyal, founder of Hyper Brands, helps companies find the right influencer to sell their prodcut.

“It’s a basic rule of marketing. The better you target, the more targeted your audience is, the better the outcome is likely to be,” Eyal said.

Eyal add that this new form of advertisement is especially popular in the fashion, beauty and leisure industries.

So the next time you see a picture that almost looks perfect enough to be an advertisement, it just might be.
