Texas Aspires announces the launch of its inaugural “Back-to-School” tour, which will stop in 14 cities across the State of Texas and bring town hall style education policy discussions to local communities.
By bringing together local parents, educators, and business leaders, the organization hopes to shed light on the current state of education in Texas, introduce policy solutions that will help schools better prepare students for bright futures, and learn about the experiences of local community members to inform our work in the upcoming legislative session.
“Crafting education policies is one of the most impactful roles Texas policymakers have,” said Texas Aspires’ Executive Director Courtney Boswell. “We are committed to assisting them by introducing proven and innovative solutions, providing research-based expertise for policy discussions, in addition to defending the interests of Texas’ five million-plus students.”
