AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas’ First Family is growing with the addition of a new puppy!
The new female golden retriever joins Pancake, which was adopted by Gov. Greg Abbott and his family in 2015.
In a tweet Tuesday morning, Abbott included a picture of the new puppy but says a name will come later.
To go with Pancake, may we suggest the following names: bacon, waffle (matches her coloring), biscuit, french toast or even muffin.
