#23 Texas Tech(4-1) made the road trip to play in Huntsville, Tx., for the first time since 1995, and the Red Raider bats did not disappoint on Wednesday night in an 11-6 win.

While Tech ended the game with 11 runs on 12 hits, the bats still left 13 runners on base.

The pitchers, however, limited the Bearkats to only three earned runs on the night.

Davis Martin was credited with his first win as a Red Raider, pitching 1 2/3 innings and only giving up one hit and no runs.

Former Frenship Tiger Stephen Smith had another banner night(after capturing the Big 12 Player of the Week with his effort last weekend vs Wisconsin-Milwaukee), going three-for-six with two RBI and two runs scored against SHSU.

The first nine runs score by Texas Tech were with two outs.

Tech returns to play on Friday at 12pm in the Houston College Classic against the University of Houston.
