Texas Tech football’s Reginald Davis III is now an Undrafted Free Agent for the Atlanta Falcons. He said he has come a long way achieving this goal from losing both his parents and his grandma at a young age.
“It’s made me stronger everyday, losing my parents then my grandma. I was getting a social security check from my family passing away but other than that it was me, my brother and my aunt,” Davis said.
Davis said he has worked hard in both sports and school to stay grounded and his ultimate goal is to provide the childhood for his two daughters that he never had.
“I got the opportunity to change my life and not just mine but my kid’s and my girlfriend’s and my family member’s. I’m ready to change their life and I am ready to do whatever I can to make them live comfortable,” Davis said.
His girlfriend since high school and mother to both of his daughters, Danielle Brown, said his past has shaped him into the father he is today.

“He has so much emotion. He wants to raise his kids since he didn’t have parents so I guess he wants to step up and give his kids what he didn’t have. He wants them to have the best life possible,” Brown said.

Davis leaves for his first “mini camp” with the Falcons on May 10th. If everything goes as planned Brown said they hope to move to Atlanta before August so their oldest daughter can start first grade.
