Texas Tech jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and was able to hold off TCU, 75-69 Wednesday to remain unbeaten at home.

The Horned Frogs were able to chip away at Texas Tech’s eight-point halftime but never led by more than two points and both times TCU jumped ahead the Red Raiders answered on the next possession.

Keenan Evans led Texas Tech with 20 points and was 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

Justin Gray scored six of the Red Raiders first ten points and finished with 18 points on the night.

Texas Tech (14-4, 3-3) returns to action against Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. Saturday at United Supermarkets Arena.
