Texas Tech Athletics introduced a newly-launched program Wednesday that will allow Red Raider fans to purchase mobile tickets in as few as three taps on their smartphones.

The Texas Tech Pass will allow fans to sign up for free to receive a text message notification when tickets become available for each home game. Once notified, fans can select the desired section and purchase tickets directly from their smartphones. A barcode and seat location will then be sent to their mobile device and can be used to enter Jones AT&T Stadium.

Fans can sign up for ticket notifications by visiting TexasTechPass.com.

“We’re excited about this agreement with Experience,” said Robert Giovannetti, Senior Associate AD for External Operations. “Texas Tech Pass will offer our fans the fastest and simplest way to purchase mobile tickets before the game from home, work or even the tailgating lot.”

The Texas Tech Pass was developed through a partnership with Experience (expapp.com), an award-winning fan experience technology company that has also worked with several of the top professional and collegiate programs across the country.

Fans are encouraged to sign up for notifications prior to Saturday’s season opener against Stephen F. Austin. Tickets are still on sale for the 7 p.m. kickoff and can be purchased online or by calling 806-742-TECH.
