Texas Tech squandered a 4-point lead over the final minute, falling to West Virginia 80-76.

Over the final 1:09, the Mountaineers were fueled by an 8-0 run to close out the game.

Texas Tech sophomore forward Zach Smith scored 18 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field, along with four rebounds, one assist to five turnovers, two blocks and two steals.

West Virginia senior guard Jaysean Paige scored a game-high 22 points 6-of-11 shooting from the field, along with one rebound, two assists to four turnovers and one steal.
