In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the Texas Tech Police Department is giving notice of multiple on-campus assaults believed to have been committed by the same assailants.

The Texas Tech Police Department is currently investigating three separate incidents of on-campus assault that have occurred [late Saturday evening].
Four college age black males in a white or silver passenger car and/or walking on foot have reportedly assaulted three separate male students on-campus. All three attacks occurred outside. Victims have sustained moderate injuries inflicted by fists. No weapons have been reported. The motive behind the attacks is currently unknown.

The Texas Tech Police Department continues to investigate and is conducting increased patrols of the campus.

The Texas Tech Police Department cannot currently confirm there is any continuing threat to the campus community. However, campus residents are encouraged to remain vigilant of their surroundings and to immediately report suspicious activity by utilizing emergency blue phones, calling 9-911 from campus landlines, 911 from cellular phones, or for non-emergencies by calling 806-742-3931 or 806-743-2000.
