Saturday afternoon Texas Tech junior high jumper Trey Culver picked up his second-straight indoor high jump national title after clearing 7-5 at the National Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Tx.

The Red Raiders have now won three-straight indoor national high jump titles.

Culver won his first indoor national championship in 2016 after clearing 7-3.75 in at the indoor championships in Birmingham, AL.

His victory in 2016 made Texas Tech the first school in NCAA history to win back-to-back indoor national championships with two different athletes. Culver had followed in the footsteps of Jacorian Duffield who took home the 2015 indoor national title with a jump of 7-6 in Fayetteville, AR.
