The 4th on Broadway Celebration begins on Friday with the First Friday Art Trail in Downtown Lubbock, Saturday the 2nd is the La Raza on the Plaza Street Dance featuring La Mafia and A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia King Allstarz. Sunday the 3rd is the Texas Country Street Dance with the Turnpike Troubadours and The Dirty River Boys.
The events on the 4th start with a fun run at 7 a.m. and the parade begins 9 a.m.. The Picnic in the park goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The Picnic in the Park events are all free and there will be live music, food and craft vendors and permit free fishing. And of course no 4th of July celebration would be complete without a fireworks display starting at 10 p.m.
