The Candlelight at the Ranch is going to be on December 9 and 10 from 6:30 p.m., to 9 p.m. This holiday event offers a glimpse into the past as NRHC visitors experience celebrations similar to those on the open prairie from 1780 to 1950. There will be luminaries that line the paths of the National Ranching Heritage Center historic park for two nights.

Guests can recreate holiday scenes of trimming trees, playing traditional music and gathering around a campfire on a cold winter night. This event is open to the public and is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Admission is free but a $5 donation is encouraged. This year guests can purchase VIP tickets and get reserved parking and early entry into the ranch. For more information, or to purchase VIP tickets, visit www.ranchingheritage.org/candlelight.
