The Boy Scouts of America South Plains Council invite boys in grades first through fifth to “Rocket into Scouting,” on September 15th at 7 p.m.
The South Plains Council will be at every elementary school in the Lubbock area, including Frenship and Cooper school districts. This is an opportunity to enroll new Cub Scouts and give away free model rocket kits at the event.
The new scouts will have a month to assemble the rockets before a group launch on October 16th.
