The Museum of Texas Tech Opens In The Blood Exhibit

The Museum of Texas Tech is opening its newest exhibit, In the Blood: the War between Vampires and Werewolves. This exhibit will teach guests about the myths of vampires and werewolves, how they came from real animals and how the mythology has adapted over time.

The exhibit will open just in time for Halloween, on October 30. It will include comic books, music, movie clips and specimens of the animals from which the legends came.

There will be a fundraiser for the museum, the Monster Ball will be held on October 29, from 7 p.m., to midnight. Guests at the Monster Ball will be able to get early access to the new exhibit as well.

The museum will also be holding a free concert on Oct. 15. Music professors Chris Smith and Roger Landes will conduct a student orchestra of “Nosferatu,” which is a silent horror film from the 1920s.
