The United Family®, along with Lubbock Independent School District, will host a school supply drive for students in need in area school districts including: Lubbock Independent School District, Frenship Independent School District, Cooper Independent School District, Roosevelt Independent School District and Slaton Independent School District. From July 20 through Aug. 3, guests may purchase school supplies and drop them into barrels located at the front of any Lubbock location of United Supermarkets, Market Street or Amigos. Additionally, they can make a cash donation during checkout.
The drive will kick off with a special shopping spree event for superintendents of participating school districts. Each school receiving donations will directly issue them to families and children in need.
