Lubbock Fire Rescue was called to a house near 16th Street and Avenue O sometime after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for the report of a house fire.

So far there have been no reports of injuries or persons inside the house at the time of the fire. 

Images from the scene showed and entire house engulfed in flames and thick black smoke.  The smoke could be seen from 74th and University.

LFR said the same house caught fire in November of 2016 and was occupied at the time.  It has been vacant and it was condemned prior to the fire. 

LFR said what’s left of the house will be demolished.
