A federal indictment on Wednesday accused Juan Carlos Pinales, 22, Ramoan Escobar-Robles, 24, and Jesus Moreno-Perez of conspiracy and Possession with Intent to Distrubte 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.
The three were arrested on June 19 by the Texas Department of Public Safety at a residence in the 2300 block of Birch Avenue. All three were indicted on state charges prior to the federal indictment. Even before the new federal charges were filed, all three were held in the Lubbock County Detention Center in lieu of a $1 million bond.
In addition to the drug charges, Robles-Escobar and Moreno Perez were also held in the detention center for immigration status.
The court records do not yet state precisely how much methamphetamine was involved. The court records also do not provide details of their conspiracy.
