Just before 3:00 pm Tuesday, EMS and Lubbock Fire Rescue were called to the 1300 block of 65th Drive for the report of three children injured by a broken glass table.
An official on the scene said the kids were jumping on the glass table when it broke. One child had relatively minor injuries and was taken to Covenant Medical Center. Two others suffered serious injuries and were taken to University Medical Center.
Basically, they were stabbed by shards of broken glass.
Officials at the scene did not believe the injuries were life threatening.
