A police report was made available Tuesday which provided details of the Sunday night armed robbery of Tobacco Road at 2908 Parkway Drive.
“[A suspect] entered the business and stole and an undisclosed amount of currency and tobacco products while exhibiting a deadly weapon,” the police report said.
According to the police report, the suspect pointed a gun at a woman in the store and ordered her to get on the floor. The suspect then ordered the store employee to hand over “an undisclosed amount of currency and tobacco products.”
The woman suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
As of Tuesday, LPD said no suspect had been arrested. The suspect was described as a black man, 5’6″ tall and 150 pounds. He was described as wearing a black beanie, and black gloves. Police said he wore a green scarf over his face.
