Emergency crews were dispatched to a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon just north of Abernathy.
The accident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 27, near exit 22. The accident was in the southbound lanes of the interstate.
Initial reports from the scene said a passenger car collided with a semi-truck.
At least one person, a 23-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital. The victim reportedly had several broken bones.
